Mike's Community Mart

No sign that says checks not accepted. I buy everything here. Thousands of dollars in a months time, every month. Stop in to fill up only had a check on me. Was told checks were not accepted and that I needed to call someone to bring me the money. Due to it being so late I had no one to call. Asked if I could leave a check till first thing in the morning and come back and pay cash when the banks opened. Was told to call someone and get the money and that if I left the check for the amount owed and drove away even though I would have been leaving payment that I would have the law called on me. I have swore by mikes to everyone that I know because once mikes got bad diesel and a few customers got that fuel and mike stood behind the repair to fix their vehicle. I have also bought hundreds upon hundreds of gallons of diesel and every time I change my filters their just as clean as can be. I specifically send people here for that reason. But after being treated that way over 125$ I will never buy another thing here. It was also a business check. I live and run a business right up the road I stop here a dozen times a day. Maybe you should hang a sign up!!! Letting people know that you don’t accept checks? Or maybe make your pumps prepaid so that no one ends up in this situation. I enjoy seeing the people that work here everyday and have always had a great experience untill tonight. That was enough for me....

Had pizza inside and clean bathrooms. Decent convenience store.
