This place NEVER stays open until hours posted. It'll say 1030pm, but closed by 10. Weekends 1130pm, closed by 1030. Management needs to update and fix this issue. When you're in the middle of nowhere and you need gas but the place is closed this causes major inconvenience. Will not be buying from this location ever again.

I had got gas and cigarettes here and never had a issue before until today. I went today to get me a pack of cigarettes and the employee was extremely rude. I asked him nicely for a pack of l&m reds 100s and he seemed irritated when I asked him. When he asked for my ID, I guess he noticed that I only had a $100 bill in my hand and he rudely asked “do you have anything less than that $100” I said “No this is the only money I have.” He just shook his head and rolled his eyes and said “We don’t accept that.” I was a little bit upset, but I said “Okay I’m sorry” he then didn’t say anything back to me when I was leaving. I worked in customer service before and that wasn’t the right way he should’ve treated a customer. I went to another gas station though to get me the cigarettes i wanted and they had no problem with me using a $100 bill. They even told me that if they didn’t have enough to give me back in change then they would send me to the bank to get the rest of my change. So I’m not sure whether the employee at Murphy’s was lying to me so that he didn’t have to change a $100 bill or they were generally not allowed to do that. Either way he could’ve been more nice to me and not acted so rude or irritated.
