Coffee House & Waffle Shop

Lately I've been getting the best service ever from them. I have to say they are one of the best places to eat in Ashe County. They have a man cook there and he has always cooked my food the way I want it. He will be a loss when or if he ever leaves them.

This place is hit or miss. When you order takeout there’s a 90% chance you won’t get exactly what you ordered how you order it. However, I feel bad for the staff because they seem over worked and when you’re overworked and understaffed it’s easy for mistakes to happen. When you get the correct food it’s pretty good though. If I could rate the staff I’d say 5. The business in general 2.

Hungry Man breakfast was outstanding before a day of fishing. Everyone was friendly, engaging and helpful. We'll be back!

We chose to eat here assuming it would be similar to Waffle House- cheap, fast, and tasty. It was none of the above. While staff was very friendly, our food took over an hour, we could smell the restrooms, and the biscuits were hard. We also saw a staff member leave the restroom without washing their hands- maybe there was a sink behind the bar they planned to use but it was still concerning. Just go to Waffle House.

Probably my most favorite place to eat breakfast in West Jefferson. They have a lot of different things to choose from for breakfast and dinner. Food is great. The wait staff is friendly and the food comes out quickly.
