Love their food. Newks sandwich is my favorite along with caramel cake, any of their cakes are good. Gonna give the pimento sandwich a try next time - I hear it's really good. Plus their tea is super good!
Service was nice from the time you enter the restaurant. Not a long wait, food was nice and hot. We'll be returning soon. Don't forget your dessert they have lovely cakes all kinds.
Love their grilled shrimp poboy. Wife and I stop here every Friday night. It's a bit of a ritual. Great place to eat.
My wife and I were in on Wednesday. Were not aware that a boil water notuce was in effect. When we orderd tea, the black girl went in a tirade about not being able to make tea. THE MOST RUDE TREATMENT WE HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT A RESTURANT. Because of this, I asked for manager, the quite disgruntled employee stormed off mumbling unkind words about my wife and I. Another small frame African American young lady took our order and we seated. She was quite polite. When food was served, we asked the server to see manager, that never came. This all happened about 1:45 on Tursday, 25th.nWe wont be back. Rudeness, and a manager to afraid to show their face does not deserve our service.nYou may want to check my FB page, cause I am not going to let this rest. I am 65 yrs old, my wife 75 and we will not let this go unnoticed.
Food was ok. Nothing spectacular. Get the same thing. Just where I go to for something different.
