Watermelon Festival is a clean, safe event. All proceeds go to the mize volunteer fire department. There's a clear water creek behind the pavilion to wade in. Sit down under the fire department garage, plenty of tables with fans blowing. Go early to pick a place under a shade tree, or put it down in the water if you brave. All types of carnival food, reasonably priced. Cokes, water 1 dollar, homemade Icecream 4, steak sandwiches 7. Entertainment is local singers. Its fun.

Great time for the trunk or treat in the park. Fun safe family fun! Love our small town
The grandkids love to come here. It's always been a safe place to bring them.
Very neat clean Park inside the City limits of Mize,Ms. Place seems to always be very well kept up and very child friendly.
