The owner gets five stars, the food gets 3. My family was passing through Ridgeland on a road trip and saw some good looking photos of Greek food with rave reviews on Google. We all had gyros and fries, and they did look lovely, but we expected more flavor and a higher quality (and more) meat. The restaurant and bathroom were both very clean, and our waiter was sufficient. But the owner! He came running from the back as we were leaving and gave our daughter some ice cream w/chocolate syrup. I'm not sure which of them was smiling bigger. Very sweet!

In short, this place is great. It is a mom & pop owned and operated restaurant, and they do it right. From the food to the service, everything is awesome here.nnI first ate here about a year ago when my father-in-law took the family out for dinner, and I was very happy with the food and service. There was about 8 of us that night and they took good care of us all.nMy lady and I decided to go again last night and we were again very impressed with everything. They were a little busy but the food not only tasted amazing, but it looked amazing as well. The service was quick and friendly. The owner of this restaurant even came around to check on us at one point.

Large selection of traditional Greek dishes marked by their authentic names. For my first time, I wanted to try out the gyro in order to compare. I loved the Harveys special platter which came with a ton of meat and some of the best tasting fresh tzatziki sauce. Even the side of fries was delightful, something that is surprisingly hard to find. My friend enjoyed her Shrimp Gyro platter too. The takeout experience was smooth. I will look forward to dining in sometime, and enjoy their aesthetically maintained large dining hall. This is, without doubt, my new favorite gyro place in town.

Oh. My. Gosh. You know how the little hole in wall restaurants are ALWAYS the best.. well same goes for this one. Hands down the best gyro I've ever had. And don't even get me started on the cannoli. I've never tasted anything more authentic! The service was wonderful and a man, who I believe is one of the owners, brought my 6 year old free ice cream with chocolate syrup. Oh and most importantly, it was clean. Including the restrooms. It's overwhelming trying to decide where to eat in a city filled with so many restaurants.. this should definitely be at the top of your list!
