We drove through Meridian and this was on the list to see so I went! It was a lovely March afternoon- there was a group playing basket ball and a couple of folks feeding the ducks- nice park that harkened to a simpler time when the streetcar went through. Was tidy and well kept- and at 4:00 in the afternoon I felt totally safe walking.nCarousel was closed and pools were closed (still too cold to swim..), glad I stopped. Played a Jimmie Rodgers song for nostalgia sake.

This is where I coach my Youth Flag Football team for parks and recreation in Meridian. It's peaceful and safe. It's even well lit at night time by stadium lights. I have Lots of memories and have had lots of fun with with my little guys.

Extremely entertaining for the whole family including your pets!!! , before everyone shoe eat and gather, but lots and lots of acreage and grass for your pets to run and play! Don't forget the more famous attractions of the train and Carousel, this place brings a lot of focus from far and wide. My experience at this park was not only one I would choose to have again, but also a pinpoint destination I would have already planned ahead of time, making special travel distance a specific reason to come to Meridian. So many times I will look for a local park in the area I am visiting, and rarely able to find ones that accommodate everything, mainly also being my pets. I parked my car and let my dogs run free without a leash, and it was amazing and definitely would visit again!!
