Very nice campsite during the day. Lots to do in and around the campsite, but the noise between 6 and 10-11pm makes it impossible to sleep for anyone. This might not apply to some random weekend, as we stayed on Easter weekend.
Very quiet and remote. Took out camper on Friday and Saturday the weekend of the Nov 13. Only a couple campers and plenty of site choices. No reservations but from the conversations I had with host and ranger, this area is usually not fully booked. Beautiful view of the lake, no sewer hook up but they do have dump station. If you love the wilderness and beauty of the forest then this is a wonderful gem.
These sites were clearly set up by someone who actually camps. Everything was right where you wanted it. Bathrooms were also very clean. Very peaceful lake side sites, nice sunrise views. Saw some interesting water foul but they were camera shy.
Beautiful piece of property! Not terribly well kept by the campground host during our stay but over all its a great little hidden gem. There is no cell service within 20 miles so be prepared for that. And spiders are everywhere but that's the nature side. We had a good stay and would go again.
It is beautiful here no matter what the season!
