I understand that's its January, but I think the majority of people here, LIVE here! Super quiet! Like you feel the need to whisper outside! Glad we marked this place off the list and can go on to much better places!
This is a beautiful campground. The pool is clean and wheelchair accessible. Dog friendly and people friendly. A must come to place. A quiet retreat ., and fun for all ages. There is a walking trail. White sand dunes and wildlife. My new favorite place.
My favorite place in central Mississippi. Quiet , peaceful, river access, great pool and facilities. Ms Joanne is the best
This park needs better access to the sandy swimming area. It was super muddy and slippery and at several points you literally have to walk through water and mud dense enough to suck the shoes right off your feet. Once you get to the sandy swimming area be careful because the current is so strong it has drowned people or so we were told by the park rangers.
Awesome place, see some beautiful wildlife. The birds and squirls are nice to watch around the park.
