This was something I didn't know about, or ever expect to be located so close to my house. It was fun having so many different fish swim close to me, and getting to feed them. Go early in the morning, the water gets murky later in the day and it makes it harder to see. Definitely something I am glad I got to experienceđź‘Ť

To sum up my review, experience you will have swimming with the fish is absolutely wonderful (only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1) and I would recommend going but BRING YOUR OWN GEAR even if you are just snorkeling. Also the water temperatures online are apparently never accurate. The scuba/snorkeling shop was horrible in terms of their rental gear and lack of cleanliness. A family in line before me rented snorkeling gear and were pulling hair from the masks so much that they made comments about how it must be part of the snorkeling experience at that shop. I brought my own scuba gear but forgot the inflator hose. I asked to just rent the hose but the guy tells me it is too much work to just give me the hose (all you need is a wrench for one bolt) but whatever, I rented the whole regulator set. The first set had a leak in the hose. I asked for a replacement set. The replacement was broken in spots like someone stepped on it and the mouth piece was chewed up. On both regulators I noticed they didn't put the dust caps back on (which is a huge no no at most shops) and were starting to rust. On one of the tanks they gave us the O ring was completely rusted. It just seems like they don't take care of their gear or keep them in clean good condition (especially with covid right now). Of course this is very important as you need working gear to not have life threatening issues in the water.

We stayed in our RV overnight, with the intentions of just camping. Our gracious host Christine was more than accommodating. She was so sweet and knowledgeable that We decided to try snorkeling . Tanner was very accommodation helping us rent our equipment; and teaching us safety. Christine let us feed the fish, and she made me a pair of earrings from seashells as a present since we we stayed for mother's day.
