Beautiful campground. So peaceful nice clean restrooms. Huge lake several fishing piers, nice boat launch and hiking trials. The campground has only 13 camping sites. Water and electric no sewage. They do have a dump station. However they don’t take reservations. The campground has a really nice hilly trail that actually leads to the Long Leaf Trace. Awesome for hiking, biking or even horseback riding. The Trace use to be the rail road lines from Prentiss to Hattiesburg, Ms. It’s 44 miles long. Beautiful backwoods with bridges crossing the creeks, wildlife, birds deer and wonder smelling kudzu flowers when in blooming season. There are several sit down rest stations and along the way. Be ready for a work out.
This lake is a great place to go and spend the day if you want to fish or just relax you need to come here .
This place is a hidden gem!! Very clean and well maintained. You can access the Prentiss to Hattiesburg 41 mile bike trail without leaving the lake. 30/50amp hookups with water. No full hookup sites but there is a dump station near the office.
Don't waste your time or money for bass fishing here.
