$4 day use fee paid on the honor system on the way in to the park. Other than a boat launch, not sure what the park is supposed to offer as far as day use. And the trail by the boat launch disappears as soon as it went past the trailhead. It's pretty and all, but it's surrounded by Army Corps Of Engineer land that looks just like it, is on the same lake, and didn't cost me a thing to ride around on for 2 hours.

The place was spaced out for RV camping which is nice not to have people right on top of each other. The deer are beautiful walking through and the place is very peaceful and quiet. The water is pretty and the playground is nice for the kids. You can buy firewood there and they will deliver it to your site. There is a Dollar General about 1 mile up from the entrance. They have putt putt golf. You can get a fishing license at the office.

Park was a bit run down, but we enjoyed our stay. We camped in a 36 foot trailer for 6 nights in the yocona loop. Check-in and check-out were non existent (there was no one at the gate and I can only assume they would have said something to me on site if I didn't have a reservation). We had electric, water, and sewer with a picnic table and fire ring, but the site was not so level and the gravel pad was in bad shape.nnThe nature trail was run down and could not be hiked, even though it is still on the map. I spoke to the park office and they were aware and it didn't seem like they planned on renewing it. They do have mini golf, which was nice for the kids (would have been nice if they cleaned off the debris now and then) for $4 a person. Also, keep in mind that they drain the lake in the winter so if you plan on boating call ahead.

I'm loving it here. Very quiet, nice water views and the deer show up every morning and evening to pay a visit.

This park definitely has potential for a 5 star review. It has been let go from a maintenance side though for what seems like a while. There are two campgrounds in the park; Jones Creek and Yocona Ridge. Yocona Ridge is definitely more used than Jones Creek. Both parks are full hook-up campgrounds. We paid $24/night. Many of the sites at Yocona Ridge have Enid Lake views. Very nice! The shower house at Yocona Ridge is open and VERY clean. You can tell that the park staff are making attempts to improve the sites as most of both campgrounds have been control burned. This park is very popular with fishermen. Aside from sitting around and relaxing, there isn't much to do nearby. We went geocaching and visited the fish hatchery. We definitely would come back to this park again for some peace and quiet. We also definitely felt safe here. There is also a laundry facility at Yocona Ridge. $1.50 to wash or dry and they accept coins or credit cards. The road in the Jones Creek campground are pretty rough.
