Castle Rock Resort & Waterpark

The water park is nice but from what I’ve seen I wouldn’t recommend the rooms.

One star is generous !! This was by far the worst experience of my life!!!!nnLets start from the top I wanted this hotel to be amazing !! It was everything my family wanted and needed for our short weekend trip to Branson . Bunkbeds, pools , waterpark and on site diner. When we first arrived at the hotel it looked really nice and I felt like we have made a great decision.n1) We get all checked in and my kiddos are hyped to the max for the water park only to be told later that all water attractions have been shut down. We thought ok that's cool stuff happens.n2) We get to our room ( which is a sauna, are is completely off ) turn it on get everything unpacked and neither TV nor did any appliances work.nWe requested a room change which was granted.n3) Once we get to our new room neither remote worked but the AC did and I was to tired to argue. There were no toiletries and 1 single town.n4) after day 3 we requested that they bring up new linens, towels ect. Just freshen up the room a but. They dropped off towels on the sink.n5) After finding out from another guest that the pool was actually open the water park was just shut down we were getting put suites on when we noticed the cockroach crawling down out wall!nnWe found a shoes and old nuggets under the bunk, pubs in the shower and toothpaste on the counter. The mirrors were dirty and everything was very unpolishednnCustomer service was untrained and unknowlegable but kind.nnFacilities were broken , dirty and very poorly maintained.nnThere was puke in the elevator that was not cleaned the entire time we were there.nnThis hotel is dated, poorly maintained and housekeeping SUCKS!! I would not suggest staying here in these conditions.

I would not recommend. We had the do not disturb sign up and someone still walked in

Lyght, the front desk attendant, was incredible! She went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable. The rooms were perfect for our family.nThe rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It also had a good location. We will be back.

We booked this resort because of the water park. We got here to find it had been closed for months but yet was not revealed to us when booking with Castle Rock. Ever try to explain to a 3, 4, and 6 yr old why they can’t play at the park? Not once was the trash emptied, there was no coffee but had a coffee maker, no one knew anything when we would go talk to front desk. We left after 2 nights and went somewhere else. I would NOT recommend them at all except to say “STAY AWAY!”
