I recently found myself in a bit of a crunch. I had requested some important information but instead of being sent printed documents, I had been sent microfiche. I don't know about you but I don't keep a microfiche reader laying around. I reached out to Microteck, desperate because I needed this information yesterday. They were easy to get a hold of and they worked with me to fill my small order on a quick turn around. I was able to drop off the film the same day and pick up the printouts the very next day. Microtek is a convenient alternative to sitting for hours at the library scanning through microfiche, which isn't even possible right now since the libraries are closed due to COVID! They really saved the day for me and I plan on using them for all of my microfiche or microfilm needs going forward.
Great experience from the time we contacted Microtek for a quote to the finished product a few months later. We had several years of files scanned and were expecting the job to take much longer than it did. The scanned images look great too! Aaron was very pleasant and was available throughout the whole process with any questions we had. I would highly recommend Microtek for any scanning projects. We plan to use them again in the future.
I had thousands of files of academic records, some of which were over 100 years old and very delicate/disintegrating, which I needed digitized for my workplace. I contacted several companies to get bid on scanning these and Microtek was far and above the most professional, thorough, and helpful - and their prices were also very competitive. They worked with us on every aspect of the project, completed it on time, and the results exceeded our expectations. Microtek does an excellent job for smaller customers like me. I approached them with a small 3 microfilm reel job, thinking I might get turned away. I experienced the opposite. Aaron Liess was incredibly quick with responses and answered a lot of questions. I'm so pleased with my service that I'll be returning in the future. If you need microfilm digitized, this is the place to go.
