XPO Logistics was chosen by EQ3 furniture to deliver two pieces of premium furniture. Estimated delivery was 3-5 weeks. I got a notification from EQ3 that the items were picked up by XPO logistics at 1 week. 2 weeks later I inquired, as I had not been contacted for a delivery date (no status). 2 weeks following (now at 5 weeks), I inquired again. They told me the pieces shipped separately, and I would be contacted the following week when the pieces were delivered to the local warehouse. At the end of 6 weeks, I contacted them again. I was told the second piece was lost in shipment. We are not talking about a $50 item here, we are talking thousands. This experience is following up on an Ikea delivery during the fall of 2020 that was delivered to the wrong house blocks away. This delivery was also worth over $1000. Luckily the people that the home were good people and notified me of the wrong delivery. I now bet the local delivery before purchasing any furniture. It’s unbelievable people are this careless.
If I could give lower than one I would. They called day before to confirm delivery then never showed up. I called them and was on hold for 30 minutes just to reach someone. No luck. They called me back and said delivery was postponed for no reason. They put me on hold for 35 minutes to check on my order and the rep ever came back to my call. A new person picked up my call on hold by accident. Order was from IKEA which is not much better. They never answer phone either. Horrible experience so far and don’t even have my delivery yet.
Absolutely the worst experience with a delivery company ever. I dont write reviews normally but these guys deserve it. Screwed up a couch delivery 3 times so far in a week. No calls, no anything. Rescheduled for 3 days from now if it doesnt show up im canceling my ordet. Worst delivery company ever
Do not buy from IKEA because they use XPO.
They couldn't give me the four hour delivery window that was promised by the retailer, but didn't just come out and say that from the beginning. They had me calling back later that evening, calling back the next day, and on the morning of delivery the XPO rep said she would personally call me back with my delivery window times and I never heard from her again. I tried calling the warehouse directly and it just rang and rang. Too much time wasted on hold, talking to people without a clue, and waiting at home ALL DAY for them to deliver. Very inconvenient, very unprofessional. I will NEVER order from another retailer that uses this company for their home delivery!
