High holiday energy packed into this St Louis Hills neighborhood's block along Murdoch where almost every single house is either all-out holiday extravaganza or decorated with simple sophistication. You shouldn't be surprised either to meet many of these neighbors along the sidewalks as you stroll by because they're obviously in a festive mood. Whether you like shimmering and glowing light displays or some truly creative inflatables, you're going to get both! The biggest (and best) tip: Park and walk the street! You're in a neighborhood after all that is bound by Francis Park on a side and Ted Drewe's on another so enjoy everything around with a nice stroll instead of being cooped up in a car in a line of traffic that can easily have you waiting 30 minutes just to get to the block. A casual walking pace from Francis Park, to the block, down the street, and then back to your car will take about 20 - 30 minutes. Don't forget to carry a beverage like hot coffee or cocoa... Or something just for adults!
Lines are very very very long (especially during covid) But it’s kinda worth the wait. The houses are so pretty. It makes Christmas seem even more cheery and makes people joyful. I enjoyed it.
This is the most stunning decoration of Christmas. Houses are fully decked up to welcome visitors. Light canopy at the end of the lane is the wonderful addition to the decoration. Have seen the poster that this block is awarded as the most decorated one in Saint Louis. The theme props with light decor is very thoughtful. This area is always super crowded during the light hours, parking can be a problem who wants to stroll around and keep plenty of time in your hand to tackle heavy traffic. The nearby destination is snowflake lane. Here also you will find the gorgeous houses are ready with their beauty and charm. Other than these two popular lanes there are many more houses in the locality which are truly eye catching with their full fledge decoration. So this place has the ability to make everyone spellbound irrespective of their age, it is a must see Christmas light of Saint Louis. Keep your camera ready, I believe, can’t stop yourself from clicking.
One of THE BEST residential light displays in the metro area. On the weekends residents are outside spreading Christmas cheer and Santa makes appearances. It can get backed up with cars so if you’re able to walk, do it!
Awesome place to go see during the holidays. One of the only white areas left in the ciymth limits.
