Alaska

Covid policy is to not fill the middle seats. Alaska put profit above their own policy and government mandates. Im on an oversold flight with half the middle seats full. Also their operations team didn't show up to de-ice planes today and our plane has ice on it. One hour for them to come to work and get the equipment out while we wait on plane. Poor business management decisions for customer safety, and a poor operations team

We always travel Alaska airlines and rave to everyone about how great their service is. This trip however has been awful. We bought full price tickets and they didn’t assign 2/4 of us seats until 15 minutes until we were supposed to board. The seats they assigned were the second to last row and we still weren’t seated together even though we bought tickets 4 months prior to travel. They told us the reason the seating situation was like that was because we bought “discount” tickets... that was news to us... what’s the difference? We knew we wouldn’t have much better luck in the way home and we were right. Our flight leaves in 10 minutes and my husband has been waiting for 40 minutes to talk to someone because we all 4 are in different rows about 10 rows apart and all in middle seats... why?!? Where did your customer service go Alaska? We are in line with about 15 other passengers who don’t even have seats. This is nuts. If we wanted to be herded like cattle we would have chosen your competition and from now on we propbably will.

My family and I flew from Kansas City to Seattle and our plane ride was very comfortable. We flew first class and the amenities were very nice. My dinner meal was decent but they really needed some kid-friendly options- just something simple like a ham sand which or a grilled cheese or something like that. The seats were comfortable and the airline attendants were friendly and pleasant. This is becoming my favorite airline.

I think the Alaska people try harder than most airlines to be friendly and efficient. In the terminal and in the air they go out of their way to do their jobs with a friendly twist.nnThe 20-minute baggage delivery is a good touch and makes customers happy.
