Texas Roadhouse

I'm here once a week. One of two places in SOMD I trust a rare steak. Update: The Prime Rib! I never realized what I was missing. Get the 16oz and have leftovers. After all these years at Texas Roadhouse, I never realized I was missing the best order, the 16oz Prime Rib! (Medium Rare)nnDropping my favorite place down a star because of the 3 inch baked potato. Once might have been a mistake, twice? Are you owned by a hedge fund who destroys your name for short term profits? Are you dead to us Texas Roadhouse?nnOK, Back up to 5 stars, even though the baked potato is still small. But the staff is so great, I can overlook that. I hope the owners realize the staff is the reason I come back.nnUpdating because things are different now. For take out, you have staff members standing in the hot sun for hours. Yet they are still cheerful, kind, and efficient. I hope you realize your staff is more important than the food.

Normally this restaurant is good, but their take out is strait up trash. Steaks don’t have seasoning, my medium rare steak was well done. Grilled onions aren’t even cut all the way and they’re barely grilled. This place is good, but whatever you do don’t get their To Go.

I’d start by saying that this restaurant exceeded all my expectations! I think I just had the most fulfilling combinations of meats and the best baked potatoes. I went with the 8 oz sirloin and shrimp combo and 2 sides ( Caesar salad and baked potato). Everything was well cooked and the meats were tender. You cannot fail with this one if you are in the mood for steak. Authentic Texas vibes throughout the restaurant. Loved the layout. I cannot wait to return.
