MedStar St. Mary's Hospital

I had an amazing experience and had one of the best nurses I’ve ever had. For the life of me I can’t remember his name. However he worked in the emergency room at night between 730-1030(this is when I was there) on February 10th 2021. I believe his name started with a t but I’m not sure. He’s amazing. We had great conversation and he did everything with ease and made me feel comfortable and eased my mind. 10/10 recommend going when he works. He definitely deserves a raise.

My husband has been in this hospital many times. He suffers with allergy induced asthma, diabetes and heart disease. We go into the emergency room, and then often he is admitted.nWe have never been treated poorly in either the emergency room nor the hospital.nWe both understand a few things that I am not sure everyone knows or remembers. When in the hospital (room or emergency room) you are not the only person needing assistance. There are others that need attention. . . A clean room, the results of a test, transfer information..nWe know that first in doesn't meannfirst served. It depends on the condition of each patient.nBecause all of the staff is busy assisting many patients. you need to be clear about your needs and listen to advice/instructions given.nTHIS HOSPITAL IS GREAT!! THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE DOCTORS and STAFF that WORK THERE.

Dr. Muhammad Qamar is the best doctor I have ever been to. I loathe going to the doctor! Told him that at the first appointment! Told him why after a few appointments and told him that he was awesome! The staff here is awesome as well. Always greeting us with a smile and remembering our names! It reminded me of the family doctor's office I went to as a kid.

Was just in there for 2.5 days with extreme vertigo, vomiting, and overall just feeling horrible. From the ambulance ride to discharge this place treated me excellent. The nurses and techs were wonderful. Even though I didn't eat the entire time there I did try the pot roast and it was really good, just couldn't eat. As horrible as I felt these people did everything they could to put me at ease. I would recommend this place 100%.

They don't care or even listen to their patients. Just because I'm not currently bleeding out of every orifice in my body does not mean something is not wrong. They are more concerned about making you leave than actually being doctors. Why even have an emergency room if you aren't going to help diagnose and treat patients? I went in with severe back pain that shoots down my back and makes me throw up from how bad it's hurting. But don't worry my labs were fine so they are going to send me home with a muscle relaxer. They did no imaging whatsoever. So now I am left on my own to just go home in excruciating pain. Even if I'm dying I will never come back to this hospital. Wish I could give negative stars
