Rude for no reason. The woman kept cutting me off. I kept a calm a respectful tone and responding calmly the whole time. But she continued to speak to me as if I was stupid.nnI’ve never needed food stamps until covid-19 came around and I lost my job, it’s already stressful dealing with that. But It seems the people who are supposed to help in your time of need look down on you for needing the assistance. Even during a pandemic.

The receptionist is rude and has a very poor attitude! Even ruder when your being given the run around. They have very disrespectful and judgemental conversations about those who come in out in full view and ear shot of the awaiting public. Seems no social worker in there is too friendly or interested in doing their job and more interested in looking down their nose and judging whoever walks through the door. Just because they in the business of social work. Like no one can be down on their luck and just need a little help. People work just like they do. Go to a job, lose a job. Having trouble finding another job. Very disrespectful, disingenuous and unprofessional people!

Most of the staff here is friendly courteous and helpful. If they are unable to help they can usually provide information and direct you to the appropriate resources for whatever it is you may need. Wait time varies by time and day but is usually 2 hours or more depending on your needs. Parking is usually full. Handicap accessible parking and entrance.
