Nice beach! Lots of sand! Bbq grills and picnic tables. Zero shade on the beach, bring umbrella or tent!

This park entrance is right on a sharp turn, so easy to miss. Then the road is semi paved and then a long dirt portion. Feels like your riding thru someone's farm. The beach is not very sandy and there is goose poop everywhere. On top of that, there were jellyfish. Really big ones. Not in a hurry to return. Try Myrtle point park, lots of room and a great sandy beach.

This beach wasn't the best. We arrived, and it seemed pretty nice when everyone sounded like they were having a good time with their cook outs under the pavilions, and when we stepped right on the beach, our feet were hurting so bad because there were rocks all over the sand, and in the shallow part of ocean, it's like...clean your beach and maybe we'll return...but the waves there weren't the worst though. They were very soothing when we got there...so basically we put our slides back on, and had to walk with them into the river, and walk around in the sand in them and not being able to feel it comfortably. I recommend this places cleans up their beach some more, and clear all the rocks on the sand. Thanks for reading.

I've been going there since I was a little kid. Before it was a park.I'm glad it has been saved for the public. and not a housing development. Beautiful area the beach is a little rocky but it is pretty big not too crowded. And it's free during the week and only$6 on the weekends. And the kids just had a blast.

Nice little beach that isn't too far from the Baltimore area. Not too much to do other than lay on the beach or go in the river. Decent for what it is. We'll be coming back for sure
