Buyer beware! This location does not give refunds for poor service or for an incomplete job!!!nnI had my taxes prepared by Cheryl. Since my wife wasn't with me when taxes were prepared she said that I could bring her by the next morning to see her and everything would be good to go. I would just need to have my wife sign and go. When I came in a different woman was working (carol) that had no clue why we were there. She pulled up my return and found errors that she didn't know how to correct. After an hour and no help from the 5 people she called. She sent us on our way and said she would hold an appointment for me to come back at noon on Monday and 1730 for my wife who works late. She said if we came back our return would be ready to go and all we needed to do was sign. I chose to pay for services before I left and Carol could not take our payment because she did not know how to use the credit card machine. I had to pay in cash. I came back on the following Monday at noon to sign my taxes only to find out that carol failed to set an appointment so I had to wait in line. After waiting I was told that my return was not fixed without explanation. I called the owner once I got to my vehicle to notify him of the situation. He was somewhat understanding and said he would make it right. I told him I had lost confidence in them preparing my returns and he made the excuse that it was a busy time of year. He stated because he shares a profit with the exchange that he does not refund money for services. Which if they didn't provide the service you should get your money back. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to keep your money if they didn't do anything for you. Anyway... the owner said he would have the general manager correct my return. I got a call late in the evening saying my return was transferred to a different location for them to fix and I needed to call the preparer. The reason my entire return was screwed up is that all preparers the touched it didn't know how to process an energy tax credit for a pellet stove. The final preparer asked me what a pellet stove was. Who doesn't know that??? After spending $175 I certainly expect better service. I have zero confidence in the preparers to do anything other than to input a W-2. The reason you take your returns in vs doing them yourself is to not be inconvenienced. I was definitely more inconvenienced than just doing it with purchased tax software. I will not be returning to Liberty Tax again.

Terrible servicennWhen I entered the nex location the lady was using her phone I stood in front of her for about 3 minutes without being acknowledged. I turned around to walk away before she asked if she could help me.
