Guy Financial Service has been in the Southern Maryland area since 1985, and the owners, Mike and Dee Guy bring professional, courteous, and personable knowledge and services to the St. Mary’s County community. This family owned business has been doing my taxes and financial planning for over 30 years, and I have never received anything but exceptional advice, service, and timely tax return processing. Five stars is not enough! Mike and Dee go above and beyond to help make their clients not only satisfied with the services provided, but their scheduled fees are very reasonable.nProfessional folks who put their clients’ needs first, every time.

I have used Mr. Michael Guy to do my taxes since 1990. I have always received courteous and professional tax service from Mr. Guy and his staff. I would highly recommend Mr. Guy to anyone seeking financial or tax assistance.

I would give his office zero stars if I could. I took my brothers estate taxes to Mr Guy on recommendation of my lawyer. I guess this guy thought because it was an estate no one would care how much he charged. I ended up taking the estate away from him and going to another accountant to finish them up. The new accountants assistant nearly fell out of her chair when I showed the return Mr. Guy prepared and the price he charged. If you have deep pockets and don’t mind getting taken advantage of use him. Otherwise find someone else.

As owner of the company, it seems we could have a chance to respond to a bad review. The person who wrote the review contracted our office to perform a service which we completed accurately with the information provided. After reviewing with her spouse, the client returned and refused to pay for time expended. Our engagement letter clearly spelled out the term of our engagement and after she called the police, they adjudicated the same.nThank you for reading my post and I will give myself a three star rating since I probably could have let her off the hook. But she did eat up a lot of our time and that did not seem appropriate. Hindsight is 20 20.
