Dollar General

Very nice staff I now consistently have a nice experience shopping here. The employees go over & beyond expectations being helpful assisting with needs and questions. I rarely find quality customer service anywhere these days so I was genuinely surprised to find myself looking forward to a quick stop at the local dollar store. Chelisha specifically stands out with a ever present smile & friendly hello! This employee not only redeemed my opinion of the store but elevated it beyond a standard dollar store. I think the staff here deserve acknowledgment for the exceptional service that it’s customers are now receiving regularly thanks to them.

This is a rather large Dollar General store with a good selection, but when I was there the store was really cluttered and messy looking. It didn't help any that it was really dark in the store, but they also seemed short of staff. There was one young lady at the register and trying to keep that area clean, and one young man putting stock away, both were polite and seemed friendly enough. Thankfully there wasn't too many customers at the time, but I'm having a hard time seeing past the mess.

Where do I start? Aside from the store being very cluttered with boxed merchandise all over the floor there probably isn't a positive thing I can say about this location. There was only 1 staff member in a Dollar General shirt and even then she was outside socializing with a customer while the 2 male employees in the store couldn't be associated from a customer as they were in street clothes. One was face timing someone while stocking shelves and using language within earshot of customers while the other to his credit was actually working. The exterior of the store lacks any proper parking as the striping has since faded away. Also the exterior curb appeal of the store is lacking as it is in need of some major landscaping and so trash which is practically everywhere in the lot. Avoid this place unless you absolutely need something quick

Pretty good. Too crowded with merchandise makes store look junky.

I just enjoy shopping at one of my favorite stores and I can always find the items I need. And also less congested.
