Absolutely the tightest parking lot style campground I've stayed at for sure, but if you're willing to walk down the long gravel fire road, you have access to absolutely beautiful trails to walk on. ☺ufe0f

Very Friendly. Very clean campgrounds. Would recommend for anyone who is trying to camp outside DC

Great campground in the woods and overall we're very happy.n- Check-in was touchless and effortless.n- Phone staff was very friendly and efficient.n- Easy to navigate entrance to park.n- Very sensibly laid out and easy to find sites.n- Comfortable space between neighbors.n- Bathrooms are large and always clean.n- Nice playground.n- Staff is very proactive about keeping the grounds nice.n- Convenient location with stores and civilization right outside of campground.nnAreas for improvement:n- Gas powered leaf blowers during the fall/winter are loud. On our first full day at the campground, a Sunday, they were being used near our site for several hours. Loud. We understand the need. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Maybe try electric blowers for a minor reduction in noise.n- Pull-through sites in our row (D) tend to be too short or barely long enough to fit trailers/rigs. All traffic passing by front and back of our trailer has to carefully negotiate inches of distance to avoid running into us. Keeping our fingers crossed.n- Sites are not very level, but can be compensated for.nnUPDATE:nIt was rather difficult towing the trailer out of the campground. There are poles marking the corners of the short sites which have to be avoided. The worst part is driving down the aisle in front of the sites. Long trailers and motorhomes extending out into the aisle forced us to drive off the pavement and into the woods by a few feet, scraping up our trailer with branches.
