*Edit: The owner was nice enought to contact me and discuss the situation. There was some miscommunication from their office that created the headache and I cannot justify leaving a bad review for a company because of a small mistake. After speaking with them on the phone I do believe this to be a very good, reliable company with excellent values so I have edited my review from one star to five.nPrevious entry: Called on a Friday and set up a project for a simple ceiling tile replacement. One ceiling tile and that's it. Everything seemed to be fine and they were extremely pleasant on the phone. Told me they'd be able to get to it the following week. Called and emailed a few times within the week just to get a date they could service the job. No answer by phone or email. I finally flagged an email to them as important and they responded that they cannot service. Why even bother saying yes if you're just going to turn down the work a week later?! I only needed a service date. I wasn't even asking for immediate service!
They removed all flooring and paneling in basement and ground floor as well as damaged framing boards and ceiling tiles. They were very hard working and the job that was promised to be finished in one day was completed on time.nAll interactions from this company were respectful and professional. I hope they'll be able to come back and help with putting those two areas back together. I feel like I can trust them.
I needed two shutters repaired on the second floor of my home and had called multiple handyman services in the Louisville area. They were all either very expensive or never called me back to provide an invoice.nnLend A Hand Handyman was able to give me upfront pricing that was better than other companies. My only complaint was that they were supposed to come out on a Wednesday/Thursday but I didn’t hear from them until the following Monday. The receptionist was upfront about the possibility of a delay so I wasn’t too upset I just wish there was better communication.nnOther than that, Chaz came out and did a great job repairing the shutters and finished quicker than I expected. Will use again in the future!
Bud Nichols was fantastic. He and his family oriented team worked hard to give us a great new tiled bathroom. They’re prices are affordable, and they’ll do anything you need done around the house (big or small).
We had two jobsn1. Mount a tvn2 hang curtainsnnIts important to have all parts needed ahead of time. Very Nice worker. However the curtains were complex. The owner was kind and resolved my concern about how the curtains were hung and fixed it himself.
