My car was running when I came to the shop at Rainbow Motors in Amite I cranked with no problem going there. We went to Truck stop before going to Rainbow motors and stopped my engine and restarted it after when we got ready to go with no problem. We went to Rainbow Motors for a appointment to have it checked out for same problem we had before that reaccured. After it was taken to the back,I was told aints were building a nest under my dash and they could have eating wires which I have never hear of. They said to come back in a week to take my dash apart to check for shorted wires and put on speed sensor that is covered by my warranty. The mechanic pulled my car out and left it running. We left and went to Quick Way on Hwy 16 to get something to eat .When we got back in my car it wouldn't start at all. I called the service department back, they called a wrecker which charged me $75.00. We were stuck there without a way of going. So I told them I would buy a new one. My car was a 2016Jeep Patriot with only around 37,000 miles on it, I only owed a little over$4900.00 on it. This all happen around 3:00 something the evening of April 1,2021 . We it was almost 8: 00 when we finally got out of there after I keep telling them my son who was with me had to be to work. at 3:00 A.m. the next morning . I have good credit and the New 2020 Jeep Renegade that was advised on their web site for $ 22510.00 was sold to me for over $ 27000.00 and I was told I was upside on my car for trade in. So they only gave me $ 891.00. for my trade. They also add all kinds of add on with asking me about them and I didn't WA,t or need them. By the way the new car had 841 miles already on it. My notes are way higher than I requested and for 6 years with $ 1000.00 needless to say this is not a April fool joke. I was taken advantage of in my time of need. Not A Happy Camper Lena L. Bennett. I would recommend the service department at rainbow Chrysler dodge ram of Amite. Our service rep Lynn went above and beyond to help me and my husband get the repairs done on his truck. She took extra time and found warranties that covered cost that other dealerships told us was non existent. She was very patient and kind and always kept us updated on progress or changes.
