Courtyard Cafe

The location is great and the courtyard is so beautiful. The inside is very cool, too. Drinks are great, crepes are yummy, and service is excellent. Everyone was SO kind and joyful. Will be back

Loving this lil cafe! Love the loose mask policy..it should be our choice to cover our bodies particularly if we so choose and not up to others! I have a medical condition that prevents me from covering my breathing parts! I felt at home. Everyone was respectful and polite well be back!

2/2/2021nThis evening my friends and I were looking forward to going to what used to be one of our favorite coffeehouses in Hammond, but we were completely disappointed in the experience. Having also worked at a coffeehouse for many years, I know the job can be stressful and busy; our complaint isn’t with the time it took for our order to be taken. When we walked in, we were not greeted at all. The man working did not look at us, or even acknowledge our presence. He was making crepes and beverages and was very busy, but we should not have felt like a burden to him. The most concerning part of the experience was that he was making drinks and multiple food items without the use of a face mask. As we are in the middle of a pandemic and since Louisiana is in Phase 2, it was insulting to see someone ignore the mandatory status of wearing a face mask. While making the food and drinks, he sneezed multiple times, and this is the easiest way for this virus to spread. After witnessing this, I do not think I will ever be eating another food item from here again.nAfter all was said and done, he did not even say thank you or have a nice day. All we got was our drinks placed on the counter. He did, however, make time to talk to his friends at the end of the counter. This is not the first occurrence with this particular employee either.nThis was a very disappointing experience, and I will not be returning here until something is done about the disregard for human life, and they start actively trying to protect the public from this harmful disease.

The coziest and most wholesome coffee shop in town. Food options are particularly enticing and creative, with different styles of crepes and bagels and treats that are incomparable to most nearby places. Beverage options are just as eclectic and exciting. Staff (seasonal and full-time) have always been wonderful!

Visited Courtyard Cafe 12/31/20 for brunch. Although the food was delicious, I can't give 5 stars because of my disappointment with the employees lack of face masks. We are in a pandemic and under a mask mandate. This is the first restaurant that I have been to where employees didn't wear masks.nThe two workers behind the counter interacted with the public without wearing face masks, along with preparing food and drinks. I sat outside and these two workers served my coffee and crepes without face masks. I want to support small businesses during this time, but will rethink coming back to this particular cafe.
