This is NOT John's Exxon in Independence. John's Exxon is NOW 'INDEPENDENCE QUICK STOP', which is located between the trailor park and the ice machine. It's location is 267 West Railroad Avenue. This location is the old wine store that Mike Vilardo had. It sits on the corner next to the old downtown buildings in Independence. Mike still owns this building -->to my knowledge. The businesses that have come and gone thru here such as 'Mike's Cafe', 'The Wine Store' are permanently closed. And the new wine products owned by someone who painted the front of this building is currently closed. It closed so quickly that I wasn't even able to catch the name of the last business here. There are apartments above these businesses/stores in these old buildings. There's also a workout center in one of them.
The cashier was so rude to me she even accused me of stealing and embarrassed me an d didn't even apologize she is an older lady
