Huxley Bay has new ownership and the owner has invested her funds in amenities which has greatly improved the character, presentation and atmosphere. On a sleepy Sunday morning I enjoyed a pancake breakfast, eggs and bacon all of which were cooked to perfection. Each of two pancakes were the size of a dinner plate! The next nearest restaurant is 30 miles away so Huxley Bay is a more than a welcome respite w quality food and friendly service.
Just went in to pick up some worms and minnows.nNight crawlers to be exact.nThey were nice fat plump ones,nThe minnows were a good uniform bait size.nI threw in some bobbers as well.nOh boy time to fish. WooHooud83dude1c
Awesome place great people best lake in the state of Texas..
It's a good camp ground with cabins and RV spots. There's a store and restaurant. Right on the lake
Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Good food too!
