The McRaven house was a great historical addition to our weekend in Vicksburg. We did both the haunted tour and the historical tour. Highly recommend doing both to help put the pieces together. Our historical guide Stephen was great full of information not just about McRaven but Vicksburg. Jessica was our haunted tour guide, she also did a wonderful job explaining the history behind why the spirits still remain in the McRaven house. 100% recommended visiting we for sure will go back when we are in Vicksburg.

My wife and I went there today. Stephen was an excellent tour guide. Loved every bit of it. My wife even caught a orb in one of the mirrors while taking pics. It is truly a time capsule.

Extremely disappointed with this experience! We are visiting from Ohio and made this one of our destinations. We arrived at 3:10 and there was a sign saying the tours were at the top and bottom of the hour, so we figured we would have to wait. My friend called the number that the sign said to call. She called three times before she got an answer. The girl on the phone told us that they had a tour going on and it would be about 45 minutes. After about half an hour we called again to see if this was still the schedule at which point she said they were not doing any more tours today and we would need to come back later. We were taken aback by her attitude and general rudeness. Glad we didn’t pay $15 each for this experience if that is how they treat visitors. Property was beautiful though.

The ladies that did our tour did a great job. When it’s the same family I don’t think mask should have to be worn. If you’re scared then by all means wear YOUR mask.... that’s why only 4 stars.

An interesting stop in Vicksburg. The tour guide did a great job explaining life in the years that it served as a residence dating from 1797. Loved all the antiques and the history associated with this home.
