The roads were gated closed and we did not get a chance to visit it.
Nice place to watch a sunset...take pics of the river....
Closed. Can't see anything. No idea why because it is on a windy high bluff.
Nice Outlook right on the river. Close to the Mississippi River I-20 bridge and the Ameristar Casino. Picnic tables and playground nearby.
What a beautiful spot to view the great Mississippi River! It was our first time in Vicksburg. The history is great, from DeSoto to the Civil War. You can also drive down behind the Ameristar Casino and take pics of the bridge. The darker bridge is for trains. The silver one is for cars. I wish I had made time to see the pre-historic mound sites.
