Fishing, boating, camping, lodging, park, and picnic area. Everything is nice here. Enjoy fishing here and getting sun.
Very peaceful, beautiful nature all around and a nice trail that needs some maintenance.
The campsites are level concrete pads, well spaced. Fire pits need to be cleaned to be useable. Bath house was standard but good hot water.
The scenery is gorgeous, and the park is perfectly peaceful! We stayed in a cabin and the view from the back deck was beautiful. The geese, the water, the enormous green trees and no guests on either side of us made this getaway a true delight. The fixtures, carpet and furniture in the cabin are old and worn, but we were quite comfortable and everything including the cold AC and refrigerator worked properly. There are no bells and whistles here, but if you like nature and enjoy solitude, you will absolutely love this hidden gem.
Small but quiet park, heavily wooded, clean bathhouse with great water pressure and hot water. Nicely spaced spots but not very many big spots for anything over 26/28 ft.nWARNING: do not let your gps take you in via Tate Rd
