Great WMA to visit, easy to walk in the woods since trees have been planted forming lines. The hunting is probably mediocre because of the hunting pressure and animals switched to nocturnal activity.

For those who want to experience what undeveloped old time Louisiana hardwoods and swamps hunting is like, a few days in Bouef should be on your to-do list.nI try to schedule a week of vacation time every deer season to go to Bouef.
