Easy and very convenient way to launch the kayaks. The waterways are clean and pretty wide so you're not running into anyone. The fishing is pretty good here as well.
I would not recommend this particular bayou launch to anyone hoping to experience the Louisiana environment. The water was full of trash from what I assume is street run off. Very sad.
Beautiful place. Just that while we were there, somebody drove up, got their Christmas tree out of their truck, and threw it into the bayou...
Great little launch for canoes and kayaks
Nasty and homeless people living in woods near by. Be careful if you go cause I saw alot of water moccasins.
