First time at this campground. Upon arrival was told the beach and park are closed and you cannot have vistors due to COVID. So we just assumed we could let our children play in water at our campsite. Needless, to say that didn't happen. Very bushy and no place to swim. The entire trip we had to pay at the state park so kids could swim. Site was nice (15) as far as setting up the travel trailer. Water pressure was very low. Spoke to attendent about it and he said its because the campground is full. We stayed for 5 days a family of 4 so our black tank was pretty full. Once we hot packed and ready to head to dump station there was a paper sign that it was full and would need to go to another campground and dump. Spoke to woker at campground about it and she had an attitude and said not sure what to tell you besides you cannot dump iton tbe ground. No kidding lady!!! We had to take it to Wildwood and pay to empy it there.

The man host was friendly, the lady immediately informed us NO outside shower & possible $500 fine for any dumping of grey water. Never dealt with her again, the man rides his cart with blower to clean up roads but also site next to us, blowing dirt ALL OVER our truck, camper, site anything outside. The website shows site 51 as having good access to lakefront, however once we get setup we realize my husband has to do yard work to even use 1 fishing pole. Campground only has 2 bath houses & signs up everywhere asking you to use your own. And I have not mentioned the ant invasion, we know ants are everywhere, but after using our camper for 2 years now, this was the only camp, we had to leave to buy bug spray and used 2 cans trying to keep them from invading campers insides or my truck inside. I now have bait traps inside both to rid the ants. Lake was beautiful, riding bikes was good here, but very few clean to lake spots.

This is first time we have ever camped there and is definitely the last time , we absolutely love camping we only camped for the weekend and glad it was only for 2 days . The staff was terrible and had horrible attitude's the entire time . Grass was all grown up had to ride over to Mistletoe on the boat just so we could have family come and swim with us they wouldn't let any family come to our campsite . Absolutely terrible place and will never camp there again . Just had to give it a first try and that's the last time . And the restrooms were disgusting there was fecalmatter in all the stalls and my husband said the men's restroom was the same .
