5-star review for a 2.5-star quality restaurant. Consistently decent diner food. One of the few dine-in options for Donalsonville. Best tea in town (strong & sweet...I order it half sweet/half unsweet). Sometimes short-staffed, but the servers do their absolute best in my experience. Typically very clean dining room & restrooms. Only restaurant in town with a digital jukebox that sadly no one seems to utilize. If the parking lot is full, you will not be in-and-out in less than an hour. If empty, take advantage of a quick meal in the only nostalgic diner in Donalsonville. One of only 2 restaurants with vegan/vegetarian options.
Great food and even better service! Very bubbly server! Food was fast and hot to the table, the sweet tea was exactly what I expect from Georgia. Prices were good ($20 for breakfast for 2) and the folks were friendly!
Dorene was our server and might I say she was amazing. She should train other servers on how to be a great server. She was prompt and knowledgeable about keeping her customers happy. Not one time did we have to ask for a refil or salt and pepper. She was one step ahead the whole time. Not only was the service great but the prices were very affordable you definitely hit your money’s worth if not more. We will be coming back to try their lunch and dinner. Thank you Dorene for the great first time experience. Give this woman a raise.
Customer service is better than the food
Dont ever order grilled cheese. I did, big mistake!!. Two pieces of dry toast with two pieces of sliced American Cheese? Not even melted. Yes it sucked!! Never again.
