Visited Harris Neck Nature Area and Googled for a place to eat near us. Margie's Southern Cooking popped up. Margie cooks and serves the meals herself. She's reduced her menu to daily specials so we had the smothered pork chop with rice, butter beans, corn on the cob, cornbread and banana pudding (Thu). The food was delicious and the servings larger than we could eat (we did bring the leftovers home). Now we can't wait to go back for her fried chicken (on Wed) and BBQ chicken and ribs (on Sat)!

Amazing!!!!!! Absolutely delicious! Great place to stop by and have a nice meal! Felt so welcomed with the home cooked style meal and how kind she was with us! Amazing what a good meal can do for you!

Today we had the PLEASURE Of having Lunch In Hinesville GA~ Ms. Margie’s Southern Cooking was the determined location, because when I looked up the local restaurants, Margie’s had a nearly unheard of 4.8 Stars on the Google Food App... This Place, Mrs Margie & her lovely husband are TRUE Gems... He proudly shared that they were Mentioned in the 18/19 & 20/21 Georgia Magazine & Y’all THEY DESERVE IT!!! Possibly one of The ABSOLUTE BEST Lunch Dining experiences In my whole Adult Life... Don’t miss This Experience If you Ever Swing through Hinesville, GA...

If you EVER have the opportunity, STOP HERE FOR FOOD!!!! Today I was had the PLEASURE of dining at Mrs. Margie's establishment and I was over the top floored. Absolutely fantastic dipped in marvelous awesomeness dripping in golden goodness. Grandma's hands. You have LOVE in this food!!!nnPrices are fantastic. Whole entire meal for $8. This not any commercial food either. Seasoned just right. This place is clean and comfortable. She keeps the place very comfortable. You will not be hot or frozen like at some places.nnIf they happen to be closed, they ran out.

Went on Friday for the oxtails. Very dissatisfied with the tatste of the food. Corn bread was burnt. No seasoning. I want my money back. First time I went I was not happy. I Had to give them a second try...but I will never go back there.
