Hands down, the best pizza in the city. There isn't even a close second for me. More than just my go-to, its this or nothing at all when it comes to pizza. Being from NY this is truly a slice of home and never disappoints. Order the garlic knots too. You will not regret it.
Pizza by the slice. If you're pressed for time and you want excellent pizza within 5 minutes I would highly recommend Old School.
Just had a couple of slices and a Caesar salad - delicious! Visiting Louisville and, being a big fan of good pizza, stopped here. Didn’t disappoint! Caesar salad dressing was mouth-watering, I swear. Indoor seating and take-out. Pizza by the slice and while pies.
Great New York style pizza with fresh good quality ingredients. If you crave New York style you will love the crust and the small pepperoni are crisp which is a huge plus. Great service. Dined in and sat at the new bar area and had a great conversation with the owner. Come out and support small businesses!
I am from upstate NY and brought up in a very Italian area. This was the best pizza (Hot Pie in my town), in Kentucky. One comment said not enough cheese. You do not use a lot of cheese and ruin a great browned crust. they just opened at Norton Commons Sept . 4th. Had to stop for a pizza. Lot of outside seating. As usual excellent.nRay
