The Carillon

Vising this small space was a beautiful experience. it's a small .3 mile trail but very beautiful. You can see the lake, beautiful trees with all the colors, particularly more beautiful in falls, and can overlook the stone mountain thru scenic beauty. Nice, calm with chiming musical bells, a perfect spot for relaxing n photography. Highly recommended to visit if you are visiting stone mountain!

It's a beautiful space that I've never noticed before after coming to Stone Mountain for years. I'm happy to have found this little spot where I can overlook the lake and enjoy a scenic view of the mountain.

Really cool. Easy to miss the single short street to the entrance, though. It took us until our second visit to find it! It is the street next to the Stone Mountain Inn. You park and then walk a short hike to the carrillon. Nice setting right in the water.

Such a beautiful experience. I've been seeing this structure from the top of the mountain for years, didn't know what it was. I recently visited the park to paddle on the water and finally got a closeup look at it. As luck would have it, as soon as I got close to it on the water, it started chiming, then began a series of beautiful songs. Some of my friends got out of their kayaks to check it out, but I didn't. You can paddle right up to it as it sits right out on the water. I plan to visit again and either paddle and get out or walk to the Carillon. I recommend it!
