I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mary Hair Braiding Salon. I have never had such an amazing, comfortable, and welcoming feeling getting my hair done, until now. Mary started immediately on my hair. She wasted no time. I got the Senegalese Twist, and it came out perfect! There was a show on tv, and we were so engaged in it that I forgot she was even doing my hair. It was done just right and it did nit take long at all. Located inside of the International Trade Mall.
The reviews are real. I got my hair braided with extensions by her and the price was not worth it. You can tell she’s an entrepreneur and has never took a hair care class. She didn’t add any product to my hair, she tried to comb my DRY hair with a rat tail comb, and she was eating while braiding my hair. She also had poor time management. After one hour of being there she only had 2 rows in, and towards became very rude when she began to get short on time. She also blamed me for my hair being tangled and dry when I came to her with my hair SOAKING WET and sectioned. She unsectioned my hair and let it dry out.nNot going back until I see more positive reviews. She has potential but she’s stubborn and sensitive about criticism. Wouldn’t go there unless you want it done HER way.
Mary was super nice and professional. She did an amazing job on my Senegalese Twists! I’m always nervous when I get a new braided, because I’m afraid they will be heavy handed. Luckily, that wasn’t the case at all! She was super gently and didn’t touch my edges (except to lay them at the end).
Mary is extremely professional and a great stylist. My braids look absolutely beautiful, I did not leave with a headache from tightness, and she is a great person in general. I have been getting my hair braided for YEARS and this was by far my best experience!!! Definitely go see her, you won’t regret it!!!
The customer service is awesome and the quality of work is great! I have very short hair in the back and Mary was able to braid it. The salon is clean and they try to make each customer feel at home. I will definitely use her again for all my braiding services in the future.
