I used to work here. They have a big problem amongst their leadership. There is a lot of discrimination/bullying that goes on behind the scenes, especially in their leadership. A couple of employees told the owner about it and we were all fired regardless of position/skills/experience/seniority. The worst part is we weren’t told we were fired, managers were told not to give us hours and we began to notice our names were removed from their website and payroll app. The gym lacks diversity within their staff and clientele and it’s not on accident. The coaches they decided to keep aren’t the best, but they are also very easy going do not “cause trouble”, so I am not surprised. It’s a fun place for gymnastics only because of some of the rec and team coaches, but I wouldn’t recommend. Too much bad energy surrounding this place.

I am totally disappointed by this establishment. My daughter has been attending class for just over a year. Last Saturday I walked my 5 year old in as I always do. I watched her go out on the floor to warm up with her class and I watched for a few minutes as I always do every Saturday and then I headed out to my car parked out front to drink my coffee and complete some work. The class is normally 45 minutes so I head back in 10 minutes before the class typically ends. I stood looking all over the gym for my daughter and could not see her. I walked toward the bathrooms and my daughter is walking out crying and a man is walking behind her. I ask her what is wrong and she says shrugs her shoulders. I see the coaches walk off the floor and I stop them to ask where my daughter is. The first coach said he didn’t know so he asked the second coach who said she hadn’t seen my daughter since the beginning of the class when she said she had to go to the bathroom. THAT WAS 30 MINUTES! They didn’t even notice she was gone the entire class. I walked to the car calmly and asked my daughter was the man behind her in the bathroom with her and Thank God she said no. She said she had trouble cleaning herself in the bathroom and that’s what took so long. I waited for my daughter to fall asleep in the car and called to ask to speak to the owner or a manager and a woman gets on the line and says the owner is away but she is standing in for her and that she was sorry and would review the cameras and speak to the owner and have her call me no later than Monday. It is now the following Saturday and I have still not been contacted at all. I regret leaving my child in their care and will not be returning. This is unacceptable!

Highly recommend Intown Stars Gymnastics. My daughter started when she was 4 years old, and I have truly seen her progress tremendously. We absolutely adore the Coaches, who are very sincere and attentive to the needs of the little gymnasts. They are very hands on and the Coaches know each child personally, thanks to the 6:1 class ratio that they adhere to at all times. I appreciate how this facility teaches the children; the form and techniques are taught and developed and later applied towards the skill. They are not taught to do a cartwheel without developing the necessary techniques of a cartwheel. We truly enjoy Intown Stars Gymnastics and look forward to seeing our daughter progress even further.

Our 5 year old daughter has been taking gymnastics classes here for about a year and we have had a fantastic experience so far! The owner Megan, is very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We have loved the staff! They are high quality coaches who genuinely care about the kids. In addition to classes, the Decatur site offers a mommy/ toddler Tumble time, various summer and school break camps and even a regular parent's night out opportunity. The Decatur location will be moving to a new gym facility in East Decatur sometime this fall. We highly recommend checking them out!
