NASCAR Racing Experience and Richard Petty Driving Experience

Very, very disappointed. Gave this as a gift to my 4 older kids for xmas. Re-scheduled from original date in June due to Covid, understandable. Scheduled for Sept 12. So we all wait 9 months to go, drive 2 hours, (even extended family that wanted to watch) and wait an hour and half in the heat. They go through the class/video and are dressed in line ready to go when there is a rain shower, also understandable. However, the rain goes away quickly but instead of just a delay, they cancel our session and let the next session in! I feel they should have re-scheduled the sessions that were later that day, had not yet checked in, dressed and done the class like we had. They offered for us to come back the next day, so ask everyone to cancel their plans and drive another 4 hours round trip the next day ? No. We will now have to re-schedule, but when? Only one date left this year in Atlanta in October which we are unable to attend since plans are already scheduled, and no dates available yet to schedule next year. Also, 4 other family members that came to watch bought a rider experience that day and then were unable to get a refund, we were told to wait for an email, after waiting in the line again, where only one person was working. My husband really enjoyed this several years ago when he went so very disappointed they did not get to experience. Would definitely not give this as a gift again and if it was not a gift, I would cancel it. I never write reviews but hopefully I can save someone a wasted trip like ours. Sorry Nascar, you lost a fan...

My son and I enjoyed the family atmosphere. Atlanta Motor Speedway allow visitors to bring in food and drinks. The drag races were fun to watch. We really enjoyed viewing the cars in the show rooms.

I went to the NASCAR grounds for the fair. Took 2 little girls. We had a blast!!

Loud, fast and fun. Drink your own beer and save big time compared to a baseball or football outing. Nice people in security, helpful staff. There are many reasons to go the Speedway.
