We were given a great tour of this school. It was impressive, and it seemed like a great option for our son. We have had our son in a Montessori school for the last couple of years, and were excited to see one near our new home. It was truly disappointing to learn that this is NOT a Montessori school. When we began asking questions about the curriculum we discovered there is some inspiration from Montessori, however no one at this school is certified. In addition, they do not follow a Montessori curriculum. As nice as this school seems to be it was deflating to learn that about the program. The young lady that helped us was very accommodating during our tour, but this school should not be allowed to use the Montessori name.
My son and I both love this school. The security measures that the school has in place to enter make me feel very safe. I love the family-style dining in the classroom and every time I pick my son up, he’s super happy and always doing a new activity; I love that there’s groups of children doing different activities to give them a sense of independence - all of the kids in the classroom seem entertained, engaged, and super friendly! They all always say hello and a goodbye. The staff is awesome and the admissions director (Sydney?) is SO friendly and helpful.
I feel this could be a great school but it’s overcrowded with minimum staff. The children need more staff so they can get more supervision on the playground and in class..
Our toddler and 4 yr old have both recently attended RHMC after switching from another school. I can absolutely say that it has been the best transition we could have hoped for. The teachers are all awesome, and we love that they go out of their way to keep us updated on what's going on at the school. We've never once questioned the level of care that our babies are receiving. We also love the optional extra activities during the school day for our 4 yr old. We just enrolled her for ballet and soccer on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings through the fall. Love it!
