Discovery Academy of Lake Alfred

So there are a few good and bad things I have to say about this school.. So in regards to the classes, they are going well, some of the teachers are fun and all. The only problem is that as me being a kid that likes trains and likes photographing the trains, the nearby train tracks are right by this school and me hearing a train go by and I cant do anything about it just stresses me out. There are coal trains passing on that line and I want to get every single one of them because within about 10 years, the coal plants will completely convert to thermal air and not coal so there will be no more coal trains. But yea, this school has its ups and downs.

My daughter LOVES Discovery Academy. She's doing an amazing job. The teachers care about their students success. With our help as parents your child will succeed at Discovery.

This school is not good but it could be worse like they don’t let you bring your phones, the teachers don’t really do anything but give out home work and tell us to do Iready assignments which take way longer than they should. THIS SCHOOL NEEDS AN UPGRADE!!!!

They are extremely strict for no reason. They take so much of your money for MANDATORY planners, lanyards, a clear backpack, and shirts. Children aloud to have their phones on campus, not even for emergency’s. My child went from 6-8 grade and has told me that mainly all teachers are awful. They set up your kids to fail. Do not let your kids go here.
