Walsingham Park is such a great place. And the dog park is absolutely wonderful ud83dudc15ud83dudc15ud83dudc15My dogs get so excited when I bring them there. There are areas for all dog sizes and one of my little ones goes in all of them. She thinks she rules them all ud83dude06 That's because the people there are the best as well. All very kind, aware, and keeping watch over the whole scenario. The fur babies are all out there just having a blast in their territory. Nice shaded areas for the owners to just sit and take a break while they watch their kids on the playground. Great fun. Best part is they go home exhausted!!!
Great big park! Clean restrooms, nice picnic pavilions. Over 7 miles of walking paths/trails, if you take all the sandy side trails! Nice size fish in the lake and a boat launch. Awesome staff taking great care of this park.
Stunning lake view. It's a very big park compared to what I'm used to. Lots of windy paths for biking and jogging. There's at least 8 cabanas to set up at. I love any park that's next to water, it's just so serene here, rain or shine. I saw at least one playground and dog park on the first left turn.
Awful awful experience. Went today based on the good reviews. Boy was I disappointed. First off our dog is 4 months. She weighs 20lbs. Took her in the small dog side since it’s 20 lbs and under. This was her first time so I thought it’d be best. She was immediately attacked by a chihuahua. To the point where I had to pick my dog up. I asked the man if he was going to get his dog. He proceeded to stair at me like I was crazy. He said “she does that to everyone” wait! What? And that is okay? Then we Decided to go to the big dog side. No one was watching their dogs. Dogs ran up on us (expected) but some not so nice. So we have this dog growling at us. We left there. But There was one more big dog park and it was empty so I decided to go there. Thought She could run around and Experience dogs through the fence without anything happening. A women and her elderly mother thought it’d be a good place to just come and relax. Mind you they have pavilions all over the place. They were getting annoyed that my puppy kept going up to them. Do you know where you are? This is the dog park. I was so annoyed at this point I was out of there. Never again. The people were not welcoming or friendly at all. I wish you could give 0 stars
I go there all the time. Nice to walk the different trails and look at beautiful scenery. Bathrooms are always clean. 10 stars
