So pretty here I love this Place so much. It's perfect for Picnics and birthday parties! Or to fish or launch your Kayaks or Jet skis! They have a nice fenced in kids play area and right across from it, beach access. My kids love this place because it has both of those options so close together. I would definitely recommend this place for fun little family trips on the wknds and during the week too!!!

Maximo Park is one of the finest parks in all of Pinellas. It is extremely old and some of the trails are really starting to show their age (edit Jan 2021: they have repaved some of the trails so this has changed, I've noticed a lot of work going into the park lately with a ton of invasive species removal which has made the disc course easier and new plantings). There are lots of areas for picnicking, Biking walking sightseeing and a large boat ramp with trailer parking. And of course there is the best disc golf course in the area here, 18 holes, very difficult at times, blind throws, but well-marked and once you get the hang of the lines extremely rewarding.

Beautiful park with tons of space. Several activities to do and a children's playground. Love their shelters all along the shore line. They have running water spigots. I wouldn't drink it. But it's great if you need to wash your hands or rinse anything off. It's never trashy and the trash bins are emptied regularly. Love love love the walking trails.

Really nice park. Parked my camper in the boat dock during off season (early Feb 2021) overnight without a hassle. Talked to two grounds keepers who thought it was allowed, but weren't sure. City cop cleared out the park after sunset and waved as he left at us.nnSuper fun fishing even from the tiny dock to the side of the channel. Maybe bring a stick to keep back the very aggressive pelicans.

This is a really nice family park with lots to do and facilities to use. I recommend checking the tide ud83dude09 low tide is LOW tide and the shallows are a bit ripe and muddy ud83dude06 The beach is clean and it's not a lot of sand to play in, but there are shells to find!
