Our Savior Lutheran School

Extremely prejudice and judgmental. My daughter and son in law met with this school to see about my 6 year old grandson attending there. The kindergarten teacher spent about 15-20 min with my grandson while the principal put my daughter and son in law in the hot seat. They spent about 30 min there and was told that my grandson was not at a educational level to be placed. I then went back a week later to speak to the principal to ask him how he and a teacher can make a educated logical judgement about my grandson's IQ when they never tested him nor really spent any time. I also informed him that my grandson had been in preschool and VPK so he has been in school since the age of 3. I let them no that he graduated top of his class and took the same aptitude test that all schools give. I asked them did they even consider reaching out to Leap of Faith Christian preschool to see how he scored, how much he was liked and loved at this preschool. The principal was persistent that his kindergarten class was way above my grandchild's reading level and it would not be fair to place him. He recommended us putting him back in VPK.. I left there hurt and angry. So my grandson now goes to a Magnet school which he loves. He also is being looked at being GIFTED!.. He ranked in the top 1%, out of the entire school. So everything happens for a reason. God was looking out for my grandson on this one because all in all it was a blessing. I am so thankful he isn't around pompous opinionated people so he could pick up there judgemental selfish ways. There is certainly no Christians at this school..

Our Savior has been a breath of fresh air. After dealing with the horror that is the local public school system, we decided to send our son to Our Savior for middle school. We could not be happier! He has grown greatly, the teachers are excellent and very involved, and he has gained friends that are truly good kids. The school has impressed us so much, that both of his brothers are now attending Our Savior as well.

Such a wonderful school! Great christian environment with outstanding academics!
