Horrible place if you can stay in regular school, stay don’t switch over just because your counselor says you have no chance. Because you wont make it outta here at all or any secondary school try your hardest to work for those credits and don’t get down on yourself.

The process on the progress side of the school is great. The environment for learning is not good at all the teachers don't care about learning.

Attended the 7th grade there... back in 1954 - 55 year, when it was the original 2 story - Spanish Colonial Style....nnUsed to get there an hour before school and after coming on the same school bus with the Boca Ciega High Students - which is a couple of blocks away...nnThen we moved to the NE section of St Pete - then I had to take the city buses to and from school - but it was worth it. The next year I transferred to Mirror Lake Jr High!nnGot used to changing classes with six periods... One of the things I did not like was the 6th Period English class with the weekly spelling Bees...nnGot to learn how to play hand ball behind the school waiting for the Bus after school...nnEnjoyed the school....
