Friendly environment, different vibe than what I'm normally used too, staff is nice. A couple staff members are faster than others but I think part of the reason is that there is no specific place to order so most times you are left waiting and standing behind everyone at the bar. Unfortunately, I’m a grab-and-go guy so I will often drive a few extra miles for faster service at another place even though I live right next to bula.

As a trained herbalist with over 20 years experience in my field, 25 years of drinking kava in the US and Fiji, and traveling to over 27 different countries studying and working with plant medicines I believe I know good kava and a good kava bar when i am in one.nnBula kava bar and coffee house s a wonderfully cozy place with friendly people and relaxing feel. The kava and kombucha is simply wonderful. The conversation I had with a fellow customer and the extremely friendly staff members (Alexis and Bill) was wonderfully engaging. It is quite clear how much they love their jobs. Bringing community together is exactly what kava is all about, and Bula Kava Bar and coffee house has done the wonderful service to the St Pete area. .

I get that it's open air but I wish the bartenders were more consistent about wearing masks. The drink I just ordered was made by a maskless employee who was also talking over my drink.

Love this place. The menu is simple and to the point. Coffee is excellent. The barista knows what’s up and made our beverages perfectly. Great foam our latte’s.nThe atmosphere is just beautiful. Sit on the porch, surrounded by bamboo and beautiful plants. There is shade, a fountain and the most soothing wind chimes ever made.nDefinitely worth the time. Check it out.
